What is a Vegan?
A Vegan (pronounced VEE-gun) is a person who abstains from all animal products whether it be for ethics, health, environmental factors, etc.
Why Choose Vegan Treats Over Traditional?
Vegan baked goods are free of lactose (a common allergen) and are completely cholesterol-free. On top of that they can be as incredibly tasty as their traditional counterparts.
How Do I Place An Order?
Deliciously Twisted does not currently have a storefront or retail space you can visit; when that day comes you’ll here us shouting it from the rooftops! In the meantime you can place an order by either calling or emailing us. Once your order is placed we will deliver your order anywhere within the Calgary area, Okotoks and Airdrie; Okotoks and Airdrie available delivery times vary. We can deliver to business or private residences. Local delivery of our treats is subject to a minimum order of $20.00, and depending on the distance we must travel and time of day the delivery is required (i.e. rush hour) an additional delivery charge varying from $5.00 to $25.00 may be charged. To determine your total, please email us at info@deliciouslytwistedbakeshop.com prior to placing your order.
Deliciously Twisted requires a minimum of 72 hours notice on any locally delivered orders. For example, if you wish to have your order delivered at 3pm on Saturday, you must place your order by 3pm on Wednesday prior.
How Do I Make A Payment?

Are Your Ingredients Organic/Fair Trade/Locally Sourced?
Deliciously Twisted is committed to making you treats that are free of all animal products and strives to use organic, fair trade, and locally sourced ingredients whenever feasible. Due to the logistics of trade and commerce, the expense of specific ingredients can be extremely costly, and so we can not guarantee that all of our goods are 100% organic/fair trade/locally sourced.

Can Products Be Made Free Of Gluten, Wheat, Soy Or Nuts?
At Deliciously Twisted we would be more then happy to try our best and accommodate your dietary needs. A selection of our products can be made without gluten, wheat, soy or nuts upon request. We try our best to prevent cross-contamination but since we do use these ingredients in our facilities we can not guarantee that any item we make will be 100% free of these allergens. Are All Products Vegan?
All of our treats are free of animal products (this includes honey). The ingredients we use are always 100% plant based.
I Don't See An Item On Your Menu, Do You Take Requests?
We are always up for a challenge, so if there's something that's not on our menu that you'd like us to make just give us a call, depending on the item, we'll be more then willing to give it a go.
Are All Of Your Items Made From Scratch?
Absolutely! We measure out every individual ingredient used in our products, from cups of sugar to teaspoons of spices, we want to make sure all of our items taste fresh and the best way to do that is to use fresh ingredients.
How Long Do Deliciously Twisted’s Items Stay Fresh? Can They Be Frozen?
As we do not use any preservatives in our baked goods, we recommend that you eat your treat the day that it is purchased. However, most of our treats will stay fresh for up to a week in an airtight container. Granola bars and cookies will stay fresh from 1 to 2 weeks if packaging is kept sealed. With the exception of our fruit pies, all of our goodies freeze beautifully. Make sure they are wrapped individually with wax/parchment paper, then wrapped with plastic wrap and placed in a freezer bag or airtight container. The more airtight they’re wrapped, the longer they will stay fresh. They will last this way for up to 6 months. When ready to eat, just place item in fridge to let thaw and then warm gently in your oven, microwave or toaster oven just before eating.
